Here is another FAST & FREE DOWNLOAD I created to help your child identify helpful and unhelpful thoughts around anger, I like to call it my ANGER ICEBERG.
A sailing ship is an easy metaphor for describing emotions, especially when storms and rough seas toss your little boat around and feelings start to overwhelm them. Icebergs, as we all know, are significantly hidden below the waterline as too are unhelpful thoughts. This worksheet will help your child identify what these unhelpful thoughts are and look for other ways to help them rationalise and internalise those messages.
#Anger is the mask we see that protects and disguises a deeply hidden and underlying emotion. It is commonly referred to as a secondary emotion, anger is the defence mechanism used to protect and cover up a person's true emotional turmoil.
As always If you would like to receive a copy of the Anger Iceberg worksheet or have any questions, please drop me a line at firstname.lastname@example.org I would love to hear from you.
